Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Color Studies
It's been a month since I painted on Photoshop and I've decided to try to do some color studies. Still got many things to work on, I believe it will come over time :) inspired by different artists and fairy cards.

OMG It's the Battery Monster! :O
I've always wanted to paint a snow scene, and with a help of youtube and some reference mixed with imagination I was able to create the Battery monster :). Painting clouds with hard brush is a lot harder than soft brush :( but learned a lot overall on blending and use of colors.
First Head Study
My first attempt of Criss Angel's head study. I learned so much from this experience...like how to use the keys on my tablet LOL . I also used basic color theory my tutor taught me so the picture looks like a whole. The biggest reward of this study was my patience for painting, I actually didn't rush anything this time even though I drew the mouth in the wrong place at first and made the nose too long :P As soon as I become more familiar with the color theory, brushes in Photoshop and my tablet, I'll be able to create better artworks in the future.

Ficto Planet
I finally spent more than 4 hours on a painting! =D Also learned how to paint water ripples, glow, rocks thanks to my tutor. I still need lots of practice because my brush work is pretty bad...but I'll work on that.

First attempt
This is my first attempt at water and rock study. I started off with just a tonal study but painted the water in blue so I had to change up the rest of the drawing to a color painting as well. The colors didn't turned out as well as I hoped but I'll keep trying to make it better in later studies. :)
